Dawn BennettDawn Bennett, Classical Homeopath, Licensed and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, is the owner of Body Kneads Massage & Wellness Center in downtown Red Wing. She graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 1997 and has been performing deep tissue, myofascial release, and sports massage ever since. Dawn has been working for over six years as an instructor at Minnesota State College, Southeast Technical in Red Wing. Not only has she taught classes in massage, business, and pathology, but she also teaches complementary and alternative healing courses such as homeopathy and flower essences. In addition, Dawn holds a bachelor's degree in Business and Complementary Medicine from Metro State University in Minneapolis. She is also a graduate of the Northwestern Academy of Classical Homeopathy in Edina, Minnesota.

Dawn utilizes her knowledge of homeopathy to help heal people of all ages who suffer from a variety of issues: from the flu and ear infections to anxiety, depression, and ADD. Finally, she travels Southeast Minnesota and Western Wisconsin, speaking about complementary medicine, and empowering people with options for their own health and healing.

Julie GlanderJulie Glander, Reflexologist, NBCR, is a nationally certified reflexologist who has worked in the natural health field since 2004. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from St. Olaf College, she went on to work in the business community for many years. Building on an interest in natural healing and complementary and alternative medicine, Julie graduated from Sister Rosalind Gefre's School of Massage, and continued on to earn national certification. Julie has been trained in integrating reflexology for cancer patients at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She also studied with Dr. Jesus Manzanares of Spain and completed additional coursework on "Understanding Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain." Julie is a member of the Reflexology Association of Minnesota.

Pat BienPat Bien is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, and a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner. Pat has been with Body Kneads since January, 2005 and is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. In addition, she has been an LPN since 1979. Pat's goal is to offer each client a customized session by using her experience with massage, therapeutic-grade essential oils, and energy work - all to help every client to attain a new level of health. She offers a variety of massages: relaxation/stress relief massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and pregnancy massage. In addition, Pat provides hot stone therapy. ear candling and the raindrop technique, which uses nine different therapeutic essential oils that are applied to the feet and back. Whether you are a competitive athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone who just needs to relieve stress, after an appointment with Pat, you'll leave feeling relaxed and refreshed!

Sarah HinschSarah Hinsch, Certified Massage Therapist, and CranioSacral I Therapist, has been a massage therapist since graduating from Sister Rosalind Gefre's School of Massage in March 2006. Her training includes Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, myofascial release, acupressure, hot stone therapy, and prenatal massage. She has completed CranioSacral Therapy I with the Upledger Institute, and is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. Sarah grew up in the Red Wing area, and now lives on a farm near Goodhue with her husband and four children.

Caitlin JensonCaitlin Jenson, Massage Therapist, has been in the massage industry since graduating from the Everest Institute with a diploma in massage therapy in 2007. She is experienced in Swedish massage, hot stone therapy, pregnancy massage, deep tissue, and ear candling. Caitlin comes to us from Goodhue, Minnesota.




Michael SwinarskiMichael Swinarski, Shiatsu Therapist and Massage Therapist, graduated in 2009 from Centerpoint School of Massage and Shiatsu in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota with a diploma from their 1245-hour East/West Therapeutic Massage program. He is trained in Shiatsu, Japanese traditional bodywork which includes training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ampuku (Japanese abdominal massage), cupping, and moxabustion. The program also included training in Swedish Massage and Therapeutic Rehabilitative Massage, with Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy and Deep Tissue techniques. Michael is trained in providing massage for pregnancy, pain management, trauma and abuse, and accident and sports injury rehabilitation. He is also trained to provide massage for cancer patients and survivors.

Melissa FagernessMelissa Fagerness, Massage Therapist, graduated from Globe University in 2011 with her A.A.S. in Massage Therapy. She is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. Her individualized massages, both therapeutic and relaxing, incorporate a variety of techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue and trigger point, myofascial, and sports massage. She is also trained in pregnancy massage, hot stone therapy, and sea-salt exfoliation. Melissa works to balance her own wellness by running, practicing yoga and deep breathing techniques, and drinking plenty of water! She lives in Hastings with her fiancé where they enjoy fishing, golfing, kayaking, and playing Frisbee. Melissa is also an avid Twins fan. She is looking forward to taking Thai Yoga courses this fall.

Doug Van HeerdeDoug Van Heerde, Certified Massage Therapist, received his training as a massage therapist from the Minnesota State College, Southeast Technical in Red Wing. His study of work includes Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point, and acupressure. In addition, he has received level two training in Spring Forest Qi Gong. Doug has been practicing massage therapy at the Red Wing Chiropractic Clinic since November, 2007, and at Body Kneads since 2010. Much of his work involves working with clients who are recovering from auto and work-related injuries. He is an avid practitioner of yoga and has been a certified yoga instructor since April, 2007. Organic gardening and a regular meditation practice are two more of his interests that help him maintain a healthy Body, Mind and Spirit.

Tiffany OienTiffany Oien, Massage Therapist, graduated from Minnesota State College – Southeast Technical with a diploma in massage therapy in 2005. She is experienced in Swedish massage, deep tissue, injury work, pregnancy massage, myofascial release, energy work, and ear candling. She enjoys using a variety of techniques to ensure each massage is both therapeutic and relaxing. Her specialty is working with people who have injuries and need specific bodywork tailored to their own needs. Tiffany lives in Red Wing with her husband, Jon and son, Jaxon. Her favorite thing about being a massage therapist is the ability to have a positive influence on a person's well-being, especially when they feel confident in recommending her to others.
